Sokar Insurance Agency LLC (“Sokar Group,” “we,” “us”) is a licensed insurance agency located at 6290 Brava Way, Boca Raton, FL 33433. We are licensed in Florida (our home state) and as a non-resident agency in California, Illinois, Texas, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, New York and Ohio. We help individuals, families, businesses and organizations compare and enroll in insurance, including Medicare, individual health (ACA), dental, vision, group health and benefits, life and disability, international travel, pet, and property and casualty coverage.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to sokargroup.com, the personal web pages of brokers who work with Sokar Group, our social media pages, our forms, and our phone, text and email communications.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to help you find and enroll in coverage.

Contact details: name, phone number, email address, mailing address and ZIP code, from our forms, calls, texts and emails.
Quote details: ZIP code, date of birth and who needs coverage, when you request prices on our website.
Eligibility and plan details: current coverage, household size, Medicare status and plan choices, from forms and conversations with our agents.
Health-related details: only if you choose to share them with an agent, and only to compare plans. Our website forms do not ask for health information.
Enrollment details: information on applications you complete with us, such as your Medicare number and signature.
Device and usage data: IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and similar tools.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

Insurance carriers: when you request prices on our website, the details you enter (ZIP code, date of birth and who needs coverage) are sent through our secure quote service to the carriers shown on the page so they can return prices. When you apply, your application goes to the carrier you choose.
Service providers that help us run our business, such as web hosting, our quote service, email, phone and texting tools, and IT support. They may use your information only to work for us.
Licensed brokers who work with Sokar Group. If you contact a broker through their personal page, your request goes to that broker and to Sokar Group.
Government agencies, such as the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) or state insurance departments, when required.
Legal needs: to follow the law, respond to legal requests, or protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: if Sokar Group merges or is sold, under the same protections.

We do not share your information with other companies for their own marketing.

5. Calls, texts and emails

When you send a request through a form that includes our contact statement, you agree that Sokar Group and its licensed agents may contact you by phone, text or email about your request. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Texts: reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Calls: tell our agent, call (954) 271-1803, or email info@sokargroup.com, and we will add you to our internal do-not-call list.
Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.

6. Medicare information

Sokar Group is not connected with or endorsed by the U.S. government or the federal Medicare program.

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent [number] organizations which offer [number] products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.

When you enroll in a Medicare plan through us, the carrier’s own privacy notice also applies, and information on your application is shared with that carrier and, as required, with CMS.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics to count visits and the steps visitors take, such as starting a quote or clicking a carrier’s link. We do not send your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, date of birth or health details to Google Analytics.

You can control cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is wrong
Delete your information, unless we must keep it by law or to service your coverage
Stop contacting you for marketing

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

9. Security, retention and other terms

Security. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No method is 100% secure.

Retention. We keep your information as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal, licensing and carrier recordkeeping rules, then delete it securely.

Children. Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Other websites. Our site links to carrier and government websites. Their privacy policies apply there.

Changes. We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
