Medicare Annual Cost Builder
Estimate premiums, deductibles, routine care, prescriptions, and maximum exposure together.
Build an annual baseline
Multiply the applicable Part B premium by 12; add any Part A premium, Medicare Advantage or Medigap premium and Part D premium. In 2026 the standard Part B monthly premium is $202.90 and Part B annual deductible is $283, but income-related premiums may be higher.

Use scenarios, not a fake exact result
Estimate one year of routine appointments and prescriptions and another with a hospital stay or expensive treatment. For an Advantage plan use its annual medical maximum; for Original Medicare include any supplemental protection because A/B alone has no annual out-of-pocket maximum.

Prescription costs have their own ceiling
The 2026 Part D annual cap on out-of-pocket costs for covered Part D drugs is $2,100. Premiums, drugs not covered by the plan, and costs for drugs covered under Part B are separate. Enter exact drugs and pharmacies to compare plans.

Required personalized inputs
A defensible calculation needs ZIP/county, coverage year, Part A/B status, current plan, drug doses, pharmacy and expected service use. Until those are entered and the exact contract checked, any displayed total would be a guess.
